Salm Partners – production facility expansion
Boldt recently completed a significant two-phased expansion project for Salm Partners, one of the nation’s leading producers of precooked sausage. Phase 1 of the new construction project created a new 65,000 SF facility on a 20-acre greenfield site that expands production capacity and supplements Salm Partner’s existing plant in Denmark. It features a ready-to-eat sausage production line, blending capabilities and storage.
Boldt’s was able to stay ahead of the aggressive schedule and to meet Salm Partner’s needs. Boldt exceeded this goal by creating an environment that focused on teamwork and working toward goals that were collectively agreed upon early in the project. This commitment led to a project that was completed on-time, under budget, and generated savings that allowed the owner to reinvest additional value back into their business.
Phase 2 added an additional 90,000 SF. This phase includes installation of two additional sausage lines and equipment, and expanded dry and cold storage, and consists of additional office remodeling and build out to accommodate the new expansion and additional personnel.
