Advocate Medical Group (now Advocate Health) – Immediate Care Center – Sequoia

This 75,000 SF, two-story, outpatient center was part of the very beginning of the Advocate Outpatient Collaborative Program. This project, along with the Libertyville location, served as the flagship buildings within the program, setting the standard for the look and feel for all future buildings.

The new immediate care clinic provides valuable services to the area, including a much-needed walk-in clinic, radiology, phlebotomy, OB/ GYN, physical therapy, allergy and dermatology, child psych, pediatrics, rheumatology, and a large laboratory that services 11 area facilities. Additionally, the facility houses Administration, Internal Medicine, and Family Medicine.

As one of the first projects delivered under the Integrated Lean Project Delivery® (ILPD) partnership, the care center served as a “training ground” for the project partners, including the major trade partners. The lessons learned and relationships formed during the project had measurable positive impacts on future projects delivered within the Outpatient Program.
